Find the library's eBooks?

On your device, go to the Google Play store or Apple App store and look for Axis360. Download the app and search for Rushville Public Library (Indiana, not Illinois!). Use your Library ID (barcode number) and 4-digit PIN number to log in.

Renew my books?

Call the library or stop by to renew items. Most items can be renewed up to two times if no one else is waiting for them.

Put a book on hold?

Sign in to your account in the online catalog and find the item you need. Click “Place Hold.” You can also call or stop by the library to place an item on hold. A member of the library’s team will contact you when your item is available.

Donate books and other materials?

The library welcomes donations of books that are new or gently used and published in the last three years. Please bring book donations to the front desk. If you need a receipt for tax purposes, please ask for a donation form. Chosen books will be placed in our book sale bookshelf. Proceeds from these sales directly benefit library projects. RPL reserves the right to return or discard any books not fitting the selection criteria and does not accept magazines, DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes, or worn, tattered or soiled books.

Reserve a room?

The library has a meeting room available for your next business meeting or social gathering. Call (765) 932-3496 to check room availability.

Request an interlibrary loan?

Stop at the front desk at the library and ask for Pam, our interlibrary loan librarian to request the material that you need. Please keep in mind that we may not be able to get certain items such as new releases and DVDs through interlibrary loan.

Suggest an item for purchase?

If there is an item that is not in our collection that would be used by our community, we want to know. Give the title and author to the front desk.
