R.P.L... More Than Just Books!
I bet when you think of the Rushville Public Library, or heck any library for that matter you immediately think of shelves full of books and nothing much more than that. Maybe even a mean old librarian with glasses that always shushes you at the slightest noise. Well, I am here to tell you that A LOT has changed compared to the Rushville Library you have visited in the past. In this blog post I'm going to help you dive into the ever expanding world of R.P.L, introduce you to a few new additions to our resources and remind you of some others that are available for you to explore and use.

Lets talk about one of the most important aspects and THE key that opens all of the cool things that R.P.L has to offer. Your own Rushville Public Library Evergreen Card. That's all you need. A library card! Simple huh!?... Now I have to tell you that since we are a city funded library if you live out of city limits and out in the county there is a yearly fee for your card. If you would like to break that yearly fee up into 3 or 6 months we can do that as well! Plus, depending on what township you live in you may get a little bit of a discount on your card, how cool is that?! But, I must say a small yearly fee is minor compared to the amazing things that our little card can do for you and your family. Also, if you have a Rush County student living in your home their student card is FREE!!!...
So, lets start off with the basics of Evergreen. Your R.P.L Indiana Evergreen Library Card gives you access to over 126 other Evergreen libraries in the state of Indiana. If we don't have what your looking for, I bet one of those 126 does! We can usually have your books, audio books or DVDs delivered here within a week of putting them on hold. Or say your traveling to Great Aunt Barbs for a long weekend up in Michigan and you forgot to stop in at R.P.L before you headed out of town, feel free to stop by one of our Evergreen affiliated libraries on your way and use your Rushville card there! Easy right?... Swing in R.P.L and we will be happy to give you a list of all the Evergreen libraries in Indiana that you have access to!
But wait, there's more...
